Dear Families,

I hope everyone is staying warm on this cold, snowy day!

Here are our weekly announcements:

Field Trip: We will be heading to Skate City in Colorado Springs on Wednesday. This should be a fun and educational trip. I know the kids are all very excited! We will leave school at 9:30 and arrive back to school around 2:30. If you did not pre-order a lunch from school, please send a sack lunch to school with your child. All students will also need 2 snacks and a disposable water bottle. Please label lunches, snacks and water bottles. If you are chaperoning, please plan on coming to school in the morning with your child.

** Students will not need backpacks or FROG Binders on Wed. **

Adopt a Classroom: THANK YOU! THANK YOU for all of the generous donations. There will be an assembly tomorrow at 3:15 to celebrate all of the donations and generosity.

Boosterthon: LES will be kicking off our Boosterthon/Fun Run this Wednesday to benefit our specials program.. Please be on the lookout for more information in the next few days.

Class Pictures: We will be taking class pictures next Tuesday, Feb. 27th. Order forms came home in Thursday folders last week. Additional order from are available at the front office.

Spelling Words: We will continue with our same spelling words from last week and our test will be on Friday.
