About Mrs. Dann

I grew up in south Florida, Ft. Myers to be exact. I attended the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) where I graduated with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and a specialization in literacy.  During college, I married my high school sweetheart, Brad.  After graduating we moved to Northern Virginia where I taught first grade for two years.

In 2005, Brad and I moved across the country to start our lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  I taught first grade for three years at Copper Mesa Elementary in Highlands Ranch until the birth of my first son, Ethan.  Our family quickly grew from three to five with the arrival of our twin boys, Evan and Wyatt. After that, I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom for seven years.

Three years ago, my family and I moved to Larkspur. Once all three of my boys were in school full time, I began teaching full time again. This will be my third year at LES. I love it here and feel so lucky to be part of such an amazing school and community.

In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, camping, skiing, hiking, running and traveling.
