  • No School on Friday!!! Enjoy the day off!

  • Students wear green on Monday to kick off Earth Week (see flyer below)

Butterflies: We have started our Painted Lady Butterfly life cycle! We will be observing and charting their progress over the next few weeks. We will then release them after hatching! I will let everyone know when this will be so you can join us!

Embryology: Thanks to the Parker family and the PTO, our embryology study is in full swing! Our chicken eggs arrived Monday and we are observing and documenting the daily changes that are happening inside the eggs. We will be candling the eggs periodically to get a "real" look inside our eggs. Hopefully in about 19 days we will have some cute, fluffy chicks joining our class!

Bee Visit: We will be having an expert bee keeper come to visit us to discuss pollination, bee adaptations, and why bees are needed in our ecosystem on April 28th!

Larkspur Earth Week Celebration: Starting next Monday, April 23rd, we will be celebrating Earth Week as a whole school by doing various activities that focus on the environment and cleaning up our school. Please have your child dress appropriately all week due to us being outside. Each day has a different theme and activity, so please see the information below for more specifics.
