Week of November 6th

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Here are a few announcements for the week. Let me know if you have any questions.

Please remember there is No School on Tuesday

Parent Teacher Conferences: I am looking forward to meeting with each of you this week at Parent Teacher Conferences. Students are more than welcome to attend and show you their learning.

Book Fair: The Book Fair will be open this week. Our class will be visiting the Book Fair tomorrow to preview what is available. If your child would like to purchase a book during school hours, our shopping day is on Thursday. You may send in money with them on Thursday if you would like.

Green Apple Service Day: Tomorrow we will be participating in our annual Green Apple Service Day. Our class will be picking up trash outside the school. Please make sure your child has a warm coat or jacket to wear as we will be outside for an extended period of time.

We will also be participating in a Diggin' Doug workshop to learn about our environment.

Veteran's Day Assembly: This Friday, November 10th LES will be having our annual Veteran's Day Assembly at 9:30. 1st-3rd grade will be singing songs to honor the veterans. Please join us if you can.
